AI and automation consultancy
We help organisations use AI and automation to reduce friction, create capacity, and scale with confidence.
An Executive's Pocket Guide to Organisational AI
Where it began
Like many businesses, we were looking to improve quality and add capacity to scale without increasing headcount.
So we embarked on a journey.
For every challenge we faced, we asked one simple question:
"How could we solve for this?"
We assumed every problem was solvable. Then we set out to find the solution.
Along the way, process by process, we rebuilt our own operations - eliminating administrative overhead, connecting our systems, and creating intelligent workflows that allowed our team to focus on growth instead of routine work.
We found ourselves tackling challenges that we'd never had the headspace (or courage) to tackle before.
We tamed inboxes, we found ways to get insights about prospective customers to the people that needed them when it mattered.
We levelled up our presentations and proposals, while reducing the time it took to build them.
We automated project documentation and service ticket generation.
Life got easier. Work became more enjoyable.
Today we have a team of 16 AI agents working in our business, and that number continues to grow.
That experience shaped the way we work with every client.
We don't sell AI for the sake of AI, and we don't believe in implementing technology without purpose. We design practical AI and automation solutions that solve real operational challenges, improve customer experiences, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Because the best AI strategy isn't the most complex.
It's the one your team actually uses.

What's possible
Most of our conversations begin the same way.
"We know we need to do something with AI. We just don't know where to start."
AI presents enormous opportunities, but not every opportunity is worth pursuing. The challenge isn't implementing more technology - it's identifying where it will create the greatest impact for your business.
That's why we start by understanding your business. Together, we'll identify where AI can create meaningful impact and add capacity to your team, and build a practical roadmap that takes you there.
For some, it's reclaiming hours every week through automation.
For others, it's giving their team AI tools that improve quality and consistency.
Sometimes it's connecting systems that have never spoken to each other.
Sometimes it's redesigning a process that's frustrated people for years.
Every business is different.
That's why we begin with the AI Opportunity Workshop
How we begin
Every engagement begins with a half-day spent onsite working alongside you and your team to uncover where AI - and automation - can create the greatest value for your business.
Together, we'll map the way work gets done today, identify the opportunities worth pursuing, and prioritise them based on business impact, implementation effort and expected return on investment.
Within five business days, you'll receive a practical roadmap outlining what to do first, what comes next, and why - giving you a clear plan for moving forward with confidence.
With the roadmap in hand, we're ready to start building.
Time to Build
The workshop brings clarity. The roadmap sets the direction.
Then we start building, one improvement at a time.
Connecting systems. Eliminating bottlenecks. Removing organisational clutter.
We build automations that remove repetitive work, AI tools that improve quality, speed and consistency, connected systems that share information, AI agents that complement your team, with each improvement building on the previous one.
What changes
The best solutions are the ones you don't notice. Things just work, and you start to forget the old headaches, the workarounds, and the things that used to fall through the cracks.
But no business stands still.
As your business evolves, your systems should evolve with it. New opportunities appear, each improvement becomes the foundation for the next, and the rhythm of continuous improvement becomes part of the way your business works.
We stay with you beyond the excitement of the project, maintaining what we've built, refining what can be improved, and helping you uncover the next opportunity when the time is right.
Next
If you're ready to explore where AI can create the greatest impact in your business, the AI Opportunity Workshop is where we begin.
Questions
No. Most of our clients don't. The workshop is designed to help you understand where AI can create value in your business, regardless of your current level of experience.
Usually, yes. We believe in building on the tools you've already invested in wherever possible, rather than replacing them unnecessarily.
You'll receive a prioritised roadmap. From there, we can help you implement the recommendations, provide executive guidance, or simply leave you with a clear plan to execute internally.
We work with organisations across a wide range of industries. Most have between 20 and 1,000 employees, but size isn't the deciding factor. The workshop is most valuable for organisations looking to reduce friction, create capacity and improve the way work gets done.
Founder's Note

I've been building with technology since before the dot-com boom, back when companies first started using websites.
Since then I've helped hundreds of organisations navigate the ever-changing landscape.
The tools change continuously but the fundamentals don't.
And it's changing quickly. There are things that can be done now that weren't possible even six months ago.
Good technology solves real problems.
I look forward to meeting you in the workshop.

About
Bricoleur is a French word meaning builder.
More than that, it describes someone who creates practical solutions using the tools already at hand, rather than starting from scratch.
That's how we approach AI and automation.
Since 2018, we've helped hundreds of organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand build better ways of working. Along the way we've built a reputation for elegant solutions - solutions that are no bigger or more complex than they need to be.
